PixelDrop Studios

A website for a fixed-price web design studio in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. A customer picks a package, sends a brief and gets a finished site.

Preview only. This one isn't open for use.

What it is

PixelDrop Studios sells websites at fixed prices to local businesses. The pitch is simple: pick a package, show us a few sites you like, tell us about your business, and we launch it on your own domain in days. You keep every file.

This site is the storefront and the intake form in one. It has to explain the offer in a minute, then get a busy business owner through an order from their phone.

Walkthrough

  1. Land on the homepageA big headline, one sentence on what you get, and an example order card that shows what the process looks like from order placed to live on your domain.
  2. Pick a packageThree fixed prices: Launch at 497 dollars in 3 business days, Grow at 1,197 dollars in 5 days, and Pro at 2,497 dollars in 10 days. A comparison table spells out pages, revision rounds, copywriting and what you keep. An optional Care Plan adds hosting and 30 minutes of edits a month.
  3. Tell us about your businessThe order wizard collects your details, then lets you drag in photos, a logo and screenshots of sites you like, and asks a few plain questions about the business.
  4. Check outPayment goes through Stripe Checkout. Without Stripe keys the whole thing runs in demo mode, so nothing is charged while I test it.
  5. The brief reaches meEach finished order sends the full brief to my inbox through Resend, with the uploaded files, so I can start without chasing anyone for details.
  6. Draft, revise, launchThe customer gets a first draft, sends one list of changes per revision round, and the site goes live on their domain. Then the files are handed over.

Design decisions

  • The headline type is very wide and very heavy so the page has a loud, confident voice, paired with a calm grotesque for reading. Cobalt blue on cool paper keeps it from feeling like every other agency site.
  • Prices are on the page, not behind a form, because the number you see is the number you pay.
  • The ownership section is a real selling point: your domain is registered in your name, you get every file, and there are no platform fees.
  • The FAQ answers the awkward question honestly. Yes, AI helps with the first draft, and a person reviews and finishes every page.

How it's built

  • Next.js 16 with React 19 and Tailwind CSS 4, using Radix UI for accessible pieces like the FAQ accordion and radio groups.
  • Two small server routes handle checkout and intake. Both degrade gracefully when keys are missing, which is why it works in demo mode.
  • The site is built for phones first, with safe-area padding and large tap targets.

The preview above is a static copy of the homepage. The order forms and checkout are turned off in it.
